Creating and involving parents in meaningful roles within the school can strengthen this partnership. Social Inequality is an issue that the American society has been struggling to solve for generations. Though we would like to say that this problem has been solved throughout time, it sadly has not gotten much better. In the classic novel To Kill A Mockingbird, author Harper Lee takes us back in time to when this issue was more commonly known, the 1930’s. The Finch family had lived in the town of Maycomb for generations and throughout the book it was clearly shown and stated how both women and blacks were seen differently because of their race or gender. After taking a closer look at Lee’s symbolism, characterization and foreshadowing used to describe the rough times that both women and African Americans had to go through. One very common literary device that was shown throughout the novel was Lee’s use of symbolism. The references to mockingbirds throughout the book played a huge role in showing social inequality at its finest. The main cause of genetic diversity in living things are the five processes of evolution. These five processes- genetic drift, gene flow, natural selection, speciation, and mutations- all affect allele frequencies within a population in different ways, thus, creating genetic diversity. Population change is in direct relation to both genetic drift and gene flow. Genetic drift is defined as â€Å"variation in the relative frequency of different genotypes in a small population.† This variation is caused by two types of genetic drift also known as the Bottleneck effect and the Founders effect. A Bottleneck effect is typically caused by a random event such as hunting or a natural disaster which can significantly reduce a population. Although a population can gain back their original population size after a Bottleneck effect, their genes have been permanently affected, resulting in much less genetic variation than that of a population that was not affected by a Bottleneck effect. In concern to this research, interpretivism philosophy has been applied in order to improve the quality of research. The interpretivism philosophy is a naturalistic approach which is highly based on meaning and understanding rather than predictions. For this research, apart from primary data collection method, secondary data collection method will be used in order to get the reliable and accurate result. Sampling Procedure The sampling method is used to select the sample from a large number of populations in order to get the feasible information. There are two sampling methods are used such as probability and non-probability methods. Probability method is used by the researcher to give equal chances to participants in the research. On the other non-probability sampling is alias non-random sampling because researcher does not give equal chances to participant in the research study (Mertens, 2014). For this research, non-probability sampling is used by the researcher because research topic is based on the subjective nature. In this type of sampling, sample group is selected by the researcher on the basis of their personal judgment and accessibilities. In the non-probability sampling, purposive sampling is used by the researcher because the researcher is used own judgment to choose the member of the population in order to accomplish the research objectives (Stanley, 2013).
